The Forestry Corps of the Sicilian Region used a drone to capture images showing the new fissure that opened on August 14 at an altitude of 3000 meters on Etna, in the same area already affected by the eruptive activity in February. The lava flow is clearly visible along the slope, but at the moment, no critical issues are reported for forests, inhabited areas, or infrastructure.
